How to make your flickr stats look pathetic

On January 14th, 2011, flickr was nice enough to choose one of my photos for one of their "Your Best Shot 2010" blog post series. It was a pleasant surprise and I was pretty excited about it. Activity on my photo stream went nuts for about 48 hours until they posted a new blog post (which, bumps the post I was mentioned in off the flickr front page). It was pretty cool.

Then, today, I looked at my stats and realized just how pathetic they really are. From the looks of this graph (see below), it looks like no one ever looked at my photos until yesterday... except for that tiny, tiny blip on January 9th. Since yesterday, I've logged 13,000+ views on my account; about 4,400 of which was on the mentioned photo.

Still, the experience was nice and I'm thankful and appreciative for all the nice comments people in the flickr community left on my photo.

contract goblins

But the at&t contract goblins are still a bunch of dirty, dirty angel rapers.

Yes, yes they are. (via gruber)
